An awareness initiative sponsored by the Institute and Ishraqa Association

Riyadh Institute of Technology launched an awareness campaign to warn against the dangers of drug abuse in partnership with Ishraqa Association for the Care and Rehabilitation of Addiction Patients in Riyadh. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the delusions of abuse and the dangers of the end to protect young people from falling into drugs, and to enhance self-responsibility through media materials that highlight the impact of delusions that may push young people towards abuse. Such campaigns come from an extension of the institute’s sense of social responsibility and its effective contribution to building a generation that is aware of its health and appreciates its role in its society as an important individual on whom the state relies for its advancement. The exhibition, which was held on Monday (6/5/2023), included: A number of educational sessions and guidance meetings presented by psychologists and social workers. The Institute has launched this valuable campaign in conjunction with the national and security efforts in their wide-ranging campaigns to confront drug smugglers and other addictive substances among the youth of the country through a number of security raids and the thwarting of smuggling operations coming from abroad. Because the citizen is the first security man, the Institute sees the necessity of these campaigns by carrying out preventive awareness and combating at the local level, each in his own field.
